The Lost Symbol - Dan Brown has lost it.....

A total disappointment after Da Vinci Code... not in terms of the lack of tehcnical details but more so in the nature of ingenuity of weaving a thrilling story around those pieces. Unlike the previous novels, Dan brown had little to offer in this work. The Ancient Mysteries deserved a better treatment than they got. I was searching till the end for the typical climax and proper closure to this story but alas it was never there to begin with, the story was just not thrilling and chilling enough. I just hope someone makes a movie out of this to see if atleast that version of media is more successful in telling the story which the book clearly failed to do.

Finally I hav arrived at Blogger's world

This is an experiment to test if there is any residue of the lost pleasure I once cherished which was called "Writing". I am a person who loves new experiences, but the charm of those experiences were lost once I lived through them, not that their thrill or beauty deteriorated with time, but just that my expectations were humbled to more earthly levels after the experiences. So, its high time, I capture those moments not only in my memory but also somewhere more physical through which I can share those experiences with others. I love food and enjoy trying new gourmet dishes looking for new flavours to surprise my palate. So, reviews of dishes and restaurants would be a crucial aspect of my column. I also love adventure, hence possibility of accounts of thrilling experiences of adventure would also be probably included. Movies and music are my other passions, and so is photography. I have also learnt candle making and mural painting but haven't had the chance to spend much time on these activities, perhaps they can constitute my plans for the future.

There is no point trying to decide what I shall and shall not put in these columns, as its all in the wandering vision of the mind where it seeks to go next. So, let the pen roll and see what picture the ink paints.......
